Engineering hasn't always been my point of interest, but after this past year and and some months it's become something that I've found myself really getting into. As a kid I had wanted to be a million and one different things. Anywhere from an astronaut to a mailman (4 year old me was something else) I've most likely considered being.
After coming to the conclusion that being able to play 30 seconds of a song on a keyboard doesn't count as musical talent, and that the possibility of me being the next Keith Richards is unlikely; as well as being told by my older brothers that I can't be an astronaut, not only because of my asthma, but because of the fact that they don't send monkeys into space anymore. I've decided that the next two things closest to doing either of those are being either an aerospace or sound engineer. Since my new found interest in engineering was only somewhat recently discovered I've only taken IED.
Outside of school I'm most likely to be found at whatever concert/show that's in town, doing something with the folklorico group here at SPHS, or going out and taking pictures.
When it comes to my photography it's something that also takes up a lot of my time. Although my camera collection is small, I'd like to think that my pictures have turned out quite nicely. I started photography around 7th grade, and my love for it has only grown since then. My pictures have very much evolved and now consist of mainly my folklorico group and pictures of folklorico performances.
As for all of the concerts I go to, that's due to the fact of how much of a music geek I am. After going to see my first proper show of Los Lonely Boys in the 1st grade all the way until this past summer seeing bands from The Rolling Stones to Fall Out Boy; I've been very interested in music. I listen to any and everything, and could quite possibly tell you the life story of any given musician. Now knowing that I don't have any sort of musical talent the production of music and everything that goes with that has become something I find myself very interested in (a little more so than aerospace engineering). The dream career would be a sound engineer for concert tours.
